Smart home control
Intelligent light controls via Bluetooth or with a smart home control system, the lights can be dimmed continuously or in predefined scenes. Switching (on/off) is only possible with an existing wall switch. Additional dimming with a classic dimmer switch on the wall is not possible. Only one version works at a time, either the classic dimmer switch or dimming via an intelligent lighting control system.
Bluetooth control (Casambi)
Dimmer for convenient control of light sources using a tablet or smartphone (Apple, Android) via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth smart home standard is familiar to many from smartphones. The LUCERE lamps with Bluetooth control use precisely this wireless standard. All you need is the Casambi app, which can be downloaded from the relevant app store. One disadvantage, as with the smartphone, is the short range of Bluetooth, which means that devices with Bluetooth cannot be used for control over several floors. The advantage is the simple installation and uncomplicated handling via the Casambi app and that no additional hub (bridge) from another manufacturer is required. Control takes place via a direct connection with the smartphone (mobile phone), which means that a short distance to the respective device is required for control. Control while travelling is not possible. An additional hub/bridge is required to enable convenient control from outside or while travelling.Conventional switching on and off with the light switch is still possible without any problems. The brightness and timer functions are saved in the app and are updated again when the light is switched on (connection via Bluetooth).

Smart Home control (ZigBee)
LUCERE smart home lamps use ZigBee technology for control in a smart home network. For ZigBee control, you need a ZigBee-capable gateway. This requires the respective bridge and an app for controlling the listed manufacturers. Please note that the lights require a permanent connection to the power and WLAN network. Conventional switching off and on with the existing light switch is not recommended, as the smart home control system must establish an Internet connection at regular intervals to ensure that all functions are used correctly. A device that has been switched off for several hours may need to be reconnected.- Philips Hue Apple

With some systems and software versions, the lamps may not be found the first time. The remedy is to perform a reset: switch the lamp on and off several times (up to 6 times) to start pairing mode. Once the search has started, the lamp is found immediately in most cases.
